Wondering y'alls thoughts on this model (M4900SD). Putting a FEL on it also.
I need a good overall tractor for shredding, a bit of dirt work, so I'll add a nice box blade later, too.
Dealer has priced it at $19,199 + $4200 for FEL. I'll probably put a canopy and the turn down muffler kit on it also as we have lots of tree limbs to deal with. Is this a decent price?
Thanks for the info and the forum.

Yes, from comparing other tractors it does appear to be a lot of tractor.
Just wondering the opinion of others on this forum.
I should have it by Friday and I'm really looking forward to it. It is my first new Kubota. ....

Tex, those are good units. it will serve you well I'm sure we have some M-series on our farm and have been very happy with them.
I would point out though, if you have enough trees to consider a low-profile exhaust system, I think your canopy will lead a REAL hard life, when trees and canopies meet, it's usually the trees that win in the end.
Best of luck. ....

I got the SD with the foldable ROPS so hopefully I can let it down when in the woods. Can always remove it too.
Also have quite a bit of open land to mow and such so the canopy will come in handy when into that or loading dirt and such.
Can't wait to get it. Thanks for y'alls input! ....

I don't mind sharing that info at all.
And BTW, I love this tractor and will be glad when it gets "broke in" so it can really go to work. Only have 1.5 hours on it!
I purchased this unit from Lowe Tractor & equipment in Henderson, TX. These guys are great to deal with and treated me very professionally. I'd buy from them again.
PS - they even delivered it to me and I'm about 40 miles away from their place. ....

Dave, price was for the FWD unit with Bushhog FEL and canopy.
No dislikes about the tractor, but I've really not run it enough for a complete evaluation yet. ....
